Getting away from it all may only be a few miles away or even on your doorstep.
If it's a day out to wander and chill out you won't go far wrong with a visit to the golden gardens of Dorset.
About a 45 minute drive
That's on a good day, from Lymington to Canford Cliffs in Poole.Compton Acres which features 3000 plant varieties within 10 acres of gardens.
My visit was in the Spring
when the daffodils and narcissus were out in full bloom.
(last entry 3pm)
Several ticket price options starting from Adult at £8.45

It's easy to make a day of this visit. There's a cafe where you can stop for lunch/tea or just a coffee. Lots of delicious things to get your taste buds going.

And remember to take your camera...
Take your mind off things
A day out at a place near you is probably all it needs to get away from it all for some relaxation.
You won't be disappointed.
If you are unable to visit watch this space .... I will be visiting again.
Do you love gardens?
Do you have a favourite one you can recommend?
